Radu Stroe removed from PNL

PNL leaders decided yesterday to remove vice-chairman and former Minister of the Interior Radu Stroe from the party. The final decision on the removal is to be made during the Standing Delegation of the party, according to PNL status. As a reply, Stroe said he has experienced the third removal from the party, the latest being wanted by PNL leader Crin Antonescu, and that he will remain in politics as independent. Stroe is accused by his Liberal colleagues that he made several statements against PNL’s position which caused an image loss to the party. Stroe was also reproached he had voted some drafts in Parliament against PNL’s stand.
