MFP borrows RON 500 M from banks, at 3.84 pc average yield

The Public Finance Ministry (MFP) on Thursday borrowed RON 500 M (about EUR 112.13 M) from banks, by re-opening a bond issue with the maturity in August 2016, at a 3.84 percent average yield, Agerpres informs. The banks submitted offers worth RON 1.392 bn. For the month of April, MFP planned loans worth 4.33 billion lei from commercial banks, out of which four billion lei through seven T-bill and bond tenders, and RON 330 M, through additional sessions of non-competitive offers, corresponding to the bond tenders. The amounts will be devoted to refunding the public debt and to funding the state budget deficit.
