Marian Oprisan, hospitalized during full blown corruption scandal

During the full blown scandal involving the investigation of local tycoons, Marian Oprisan (PSD), Vrancea County Council Chairman, has been admitted into hospital, Antena 3 reports. According to the cited source, Oprisan had complained of chest pain and was hospitalized at the Focsani County Hospital late last week with tachycardia. The medical check-up concluded that the heart problems were “due to physical strain sustained in recent days and weather changes.” After his condition became stable, Oprisan (53 years old) was scheduled for new medical examinations at the same hospital on Friday morning, but instead was transported to Bucharest and admitted to the ‘Prof. Dr. C.C. Iliescu’ Cardiovascular Emergency Institute; he is currently under medical supervision.
