Voiculescu calls for ICA privatisation to be cancelled

Judges of Bucharest Court of Appeal postponed the sentence yesterday in the case of the third deadline in the file regarding the privatisation of Food Research Institute (ICA), where Dan Voiculescu was sentenced the first time to 5 years in prison for a fraud evaluated by prosecutors to EUR 60 million, setting a new date for trial on April 29. Dan Voiculescu and his lawyers asked the judges to cancel the government resolution by which ICA was turned from institute in company, and the recovery of the money invested over the past 12 years in this institute.
