34 major brands placed Romania on podium at Superbrands Gala

Superbrands Romania launched the sixth Superbrands Book for Romania and awarded the Superbrands prizes during the Superbrands-Romania on Stage Gala, marking the conclusion of the Superbrands Programme 2013/2014 devoted to the recognition of the exceptional performance in branding. Always, Aqua Carpatica, Ariel, Avon, Bonduelle, Borsec, Cargus, Catena, Carturesti, Dacia, DHL, Fairy, Floriol, Furazolidon Terapia, Gerovital, Gillette,  Head & Shoulders, Humana, Jolidon, Lidl, JW Marriott, Medlife, Mobexpert, Nivea, Ocean Fish, Orange, Pampers, Persil, Raiffeisen Bank, Rigips, Rom, Scotch Brite, Sensiblu, Unicredit Tiriac Bank are the 34 brands in alphabetical order among the 300 awarded the Superbrand status during this edition. The Superbrands Honorary Recognition trophy was awarded to International Advertising Association this year.
The brands eligible for the Superbrands status were designated based on the international Superbrands methodology including two major stages. During the first stage, the Superbrands Council made up of 25 management, marketing, communication and branding experts provided the quality selection of the brands list, evaluating 1,395 brands in 52 categories. The criteria taken into account during the selection process were trust, quality and market differentiation, applied at all programmes operating throughout the world. Following this selection, 578 admitted brands were included in the market research, performed by Superbrands Romania with the help of IPSOS, on a representative sample of about 1,500 Romanian consumers in cities.
