Sibiu included in a top of most charming towns in Europe

The city of Sibiu in central Romania, former European Capital of Culture in 2007, is one of the most charming cities in Europe you’ll want to visit as soon as possible, Mediafax informs, quoting the American website huffingtonpost.com. The journalists of The Huffington Post recommend nine European cities varying in size but all having their charm in common. “This pedestrian-friendly town has an upper level (the upper city – editor’s note) full of historic spots and lower level (the lower city – editor’s note) completing with homes on cobblestone streets. No wonder it was a European Capital of Culture in 2007,” the website reads. The list of the most charming towns in Europe also includes: Bibury, considered the “most beautiful village in England”, Giethoorn, named the “Dutch Venice”, Eguisheim in France, Bruges in Belgium, Colmar in France, Gruyeres in Switzerland, Alberobello in Italy and Cesky Krumlov from the Czech Republic.
