Romanian films screened as a first at Astra Film Cinema in Sibiu

The public in Sibiu has the opportunity to watch, from May 7 to 11, for the first time in the city, five screenings of the latest Romanian films, at Astra Film Cinema in the Piata Mica [Small Square]. The first screening as a premiere will take place on Wednesday, being Nae Caranfil’s film ‘Closer to the moon,’ an international co-production with important names of the world cinema in the cast, such as Vera Farmiga and Mark Strong. ‘Roxanne’ is the debut film of Vali Hotea and it will be screened on Thursday, at Astra Film Cinema. ‘When night falls over Bucharest or metabolism,’ directed by Corneliu Porumboiu is the film to be screened on Friday, at Astra Film Cinema. ‘Love Building’ is a comedy to be screened on Saturday, whose action takes place in a camp designed to ‘fix’ 14 couple relationships found in a critical moment. ‘Everyone in our family’ by Radu Jude will end on Sunday the series of Romanian films.
