Over its ten years of activity, Vaillant Group remains the market leader in Romania on the segment of heating systems and preparation of household water. In 2013, the German group reported a turnover of EUR 16.3 million on the local market, similar to the previous year, a level the company hopes to retain in 2014 as well. “Our market is a hard one. The difficulty to get loans and the lack of financial resources of the final client and of our partners surely affect in a great measure the level of turnover, the stability and the possibility to prevent,” said Iulia Pascu, General Manager Vaillant Group Romania on Thursday during a press conference. The conventional heating systems cover 90 percent of the market and the difference is the condensing units, which will be mandatory to be bought as of 2016, according to the Energy Related Products European rules. The conventional heating system market went down slightly in 2013 to about 130,000 units, with an average value of EUR 400 per unit, and the evolution of heating systems will remain constant this year, according to the Vaillant Group Romania official. At the moment, Vaillant Romania has about 50 employees and a network of 100 direct partners.
