Eliade’s, Steinhardt’s and Noica’s letters in Humanitas window shop on Night of the Museums

A necklace belonging to Monica Lovinescu, pages of Emil Cioran and Mircea Cartarescu’s manuscripts as well as letters written by Mircea Eliade, Nicolae Steinhardt and Constantin Noica will be exposed on the Long Night of the Museums in the writers’ window shop of Humanitas bookshop at Cismigiu in Bucharest. Humanitas Publishing House opens its archives and sets up a window shop of nostalgia at their bookshop at Cismigiu, with a display including letters and notebooks belonging to Constantin Noica, Alexandru Dragomir, Martin Heidegger, Mircea Eliade, Monica Lovinescu and Virgil Ierunca, as well as manuscript fragments of Emil Cioran, Lucian Boia, Ioana Parvulescu, Andrei Plesu, Mircea Cartarescu, Dan C. Mihailescu, Horia-Roman Patapievici and Gabriel Liiceanu. The window shop can be visited at Humanitas bookshop at Cismigiu as part of the circuit of the Long Night of the Museums on May 17.
