Norwegian FM in Bucharest in official capacity

The Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Børge Brende, arrived in Bucharest yesterday in an official capacity upon invitation from his Romanian counterpart, Titus Corlatean, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced in a press release. According to the cited source, the two diplomatic leaders held discussions about the current topics on the bilateral, regional, and international agendas. Consequently, Titus Corlatean and Børge Brende talked about the further development of bilateral relations, the situation in Romania’s eastern neighboring countries, with an emphasis on Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, common points of interest for both Romania and the Kingdom of Norway – the Western Balkans, the next NATO Summit.
