Green Hours City Jazz Fest, this weekend in Bucharest

The 6th edition of the Green Hours City Jazz Festival takes place in Bucharest between May 29 and June 1. On the 20th anniversary of the Green Hours club, the concerts will be held in other three venues.  Four of the 12 concerts of the festival will take place at the ArCuB Hall, the Peasant’s Club (the interior yard of the Romanian Peasant Museum) and the Berlin Hall (Control Club). Attending the festival for the first time are vocalist Caecilie Norby from Denmark and great Swedish cellist and bass singer Lars Danielsson, singing in duet, Maria Raducanu accompanied by Carlos Bica (Portugal) and Carsten Daerr (Germany) on bass and piano. In addition, Mihai Iordache releases, for the first time in a festival, his latest album named ‘Garden Beast’. Mircea Tiberian is a special guest at the first performance on stage of the Paolo Profetti Quintet Romanian-Italian project.
