IMF mission starts the third evaluation today

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission led by Andrea Schaechter will visit Bucharest between June 2 and June 16, 2014 to carry out the third evaluation of the stand-by agreement. IMF’s visit is made alongside the European Commission’s and World Bank’s teams, said IMF representative in Romania and Bulgaria Guillermo Tolosa in a press release. The IMF delegation will meet authorities, representatives of political parties, of trade unions, professional associations, and banks. The mission will publish its conclusions after the visit, the release mentions.
