Rome to host Romania-Greece-Italy trilateral cultural event

A cultural event called ‘The Romania-Greece-Italy Trilateral’ consisting of a book presentation, the opening of a fine arts exhibition and a concert will take place on Friday, June 6 in Rome, with Romanian Ambassador to Italy Dana-Manuela Constantinescu attending. The more detailed moments of the event are as follows: presentation of the book titled ‘La Romania fuori dai confini della Romania ‘Abbiamo’’/Romania from outside Romania ‘We have’, written by Monica Savulescu Voudouri, president of the Cultural Society ‘Contemporary Balkania’ in Athens. A writer and sociologist, she left the country in 1985 and lived in the Netherlands until 2007, moving then to Greece. A prose writer, essayist and poet, she published studies on the sociology of emigration in Romania, the Netherlands, Greece, Belgium, the United Kingdom and other countries. This event is intended primarily for the Diaspora, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Rome said, as quoted by Agerpres. The second moment of the event is the opening of the fine arts exhibition of Martin Salamon, who presents twenty paintings, graphic works and sculptures from his recent creation, some produced especially for this event.
The third moment is a concert delivered by pianist Eljona Sinjari.
Delivering remarks at the Romania-Greece-Italy Trilateral event will be Nike Koutraku, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Greece to Italy; Massimo Riccardo, Minister Plenipotentiary and Director General of the Foreign Organization with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Eugen Terteleac, president of the Association of Romanians in Italy.
