PSD to maintain Florin Georgescu, Marin Dinu and Nicolae Danila in the Board of BNR

PSD will designate in the new Board of BNR the acting members Florin Georgescu, Marin Dinu and Nicolae Danila, while UDMR will support Agnes Nagy, political sources told Mediafax. PSD is due to appoint 4 of the 9 members of the new Board of Administrators of BNR, while PNL, PDL, UDMR and PC will designate one member each. The 9th member, respectively the governor, will be designated by no party, so Mugur Isarescu will be supported by all political parties, if he submits his application for a new term of office. The leader of PNL deputies, George Scutaru announced Wednesday that Bogdan Olteanu applied for this position. On the other hand, PNL accuses PSD of imposing only its own representatives in the leading structure of the Court of Audits, defying the parliamentary custom, and that it “infringed the legal norms in the negotiations between group leaders for establishing positions in the Boards of BNR and the Romanian Radio Company.”
