Chamber of Deputies gives seal of approval to winners of May 25 by-elections

The Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday gave the seal of approval to the five winners of the May 25 parliamentary by-elections, Agerpres informs. The deputies were sworn in during the plenary session and received their voting cards. Thus, Laura Marin, who ran on behalf of the PSD-UNPR-PC Alliance, won a seat in Uninominal College No. 9 – Galati County Electoral constituency No. 18, and Ovidiu Silaghi, who ran for the same Alliance, won a seat in Uninominal College No. 2 – Electoral constituency No. 32, Satu Mare County. In Ilfov County Electoral constituency No. 25 – Uninominal College No. 4, the seat of MP was won by Andrei Daniel Gheorghe; in Hunedoara County Electoral Constituency No. 22, Uninominal College No. 3, the winner is Petru Sorin Marica of the PSD-UNPR-PC Alliance. The MP seat in Uninominal College No. 3 – Timis County Electoral constituency No. 37 went to Florica Birsasteanu (PSD-UNPR-PC Alliance). The holders of the seats were validated by unanimous vote – 293 votes in favor and no abstention.
