Roche Romania supports kids in villages of Dolj County

Roche Romania joined its 120 fellow branches all over the world for the 11th Roche Children’s Walk, an annual global initiative of the Roche Group which aims to collect funds for the long-term assistance of the kids in Malawi, but also other local poor communities.

This year, Roche Romania cooperates with World Vision Romania in the program “Donator of Future” who ambassador is Oana Cuzino. Half of donations from Roche Romania employees of the project “Children’s Walk 2014” will be directed to kids in the 13 poor communities in Dolj County. It takes only RON 2.5 a day to allow a poor kid to go to school another day, to have necessary notebooks and books, to have access to the medical services and to receive the necessary treatment when needed. The other half of the sum collected in Romania is the destination of the projects of Roche Group together with UNICEF and the European Coalition of Positive People held in Malawi.
