Electrical components and power system producer Eaton will invest EUR 7 million in tripling the capacity of a factory in Maramures, Romania, where 200 people are currently working, according to zf.ro. The expansion of the factory located in Busag village is expected to end in September this year and will increase the workspace with 7,700 sq m and the production capacity with 6,000 tonnes. The investment will also create 110 new jobs in the next 14 months. After the expansion, the facility in Busag will be the largest manufacturer of metal parts produced for the company’s electrical businesses in the region. Eaton is a power management company with 2013 sales of USD 22 billion, and more than 100,000 employees in over 175 countries.
