Logan limited series marks 10 years of Dacia model

Renault’s carmaker Dacia introduced a new limited series of its Logan model on Wednesday, to mark the 10th anniversary of this model, the best-selling in Romania. Orders for the limited anniversary series named ‘Logan 10 Years’ will be showcased in Dacia’s showrooms next week, said Renault Commercial Romania general manager Thomas Dubruel. ‘The special edition of Logan is made in Romania, by Romania, and for Romania,’ he stressed.

The limited series of Logan is based on the Laureate equipment standard, and introduces attractive exterior features: double-optics headlamps, blinkers on the rear-view mirrors, black lateral protections for doors, deep red mask for the rear lamps, black decoration strip on the rear bumper, Dark Metal 16-inch rims. The interior has new upholstery and a entirely new dashboard dominated by the central console, which incorporates a premiere for Dacia, dedicated only to Romanian clients – an automatically regulated air conditioning system.

The series comes with two types off engines – 1.2 16V 75HP gasoline, and 1.5 dCi 75HP diesel. The colour palette is similar to the current Logan series. Prices are 9,400 euros for the gasoline models, and 11,300 for the diesel ones (figures include the VAT). Over the 10 years since its launching in 2004, Logan won more than 1.4 million clients in 42 countries worldwide, from northern Europe, Middle East, and North Africa to Oceania and Central and South America.

The Logan series in Romania currently includes three versions, namely Acces, Ambiance and Laureate, with prices ranging from 6,890 to 11,400 euros.
