AOAR calls for measures to keep factories alive

The businessmen represented by the Association of Romanian Businessmen (AOAR) request the Ministry of Economy and the Government through a press release to set measures to maintain the current industrial capacities in Romania even through temporary public ownership, in the context of the latest announcements regarding the sale of Lafarge assets and the shutdown of Europharm plant. The association also suggests the Government to inspire from the way most EU members act in this respect, such as Poland, Slovenia, France and Germany. Under these circumstances, AOAR says Romania will import more pharmaceutical drugs, concrete steel and cement, instead of exporting these products.
