“The Reading Garden,” an unconventional area created in the centre of Bucharest will be officially launched on Sunday at 11 am in the yard of the Metropolitan Library, according to Mediafax. “The Reading Garden” is a public space open daily between 9 am and 9 pm where anyone can enjoy shade and free WiFi. The area that was designed and decorated with the help of volunteers will host cultural and creative events for all ages and tastes each weekend. “We try to create a nice place here at the Reading Garden where each can contribute to the creation process, that’s why we started from what the people told us they would like to have and do. We are expecting all Bucharest citizens curious to come. Of course, we would be happy if they brought a flower in a flower-pot to put at the “Reading Garden,” said Anca Rapeanu, general director of Bucharest Metropolitan Library.
