Evergrey to sing at Maximum Rock Festival

The time has come for a new confirmation at this year’s Maximum Rock Festival, the major indoors fest in Romania and the metal event of the autumn in Bucharest. This time it is about the headliner of the first evening of festival, October 24, 2014, according to maximumrock.ro.
The beloved Swedish band Evergrey will perform on the stage of Maximum Rock Festival bringing all the fresh energy of an exceptional line-up and a new album, “Hymns for the Broken.” The material will be released on September 26, 2014, and the band will hold a special recital in Bucharest during Maximum Rock Festival to promote it. Evergrey will sing for the fourth time in Romania, as the previous concerts were held in 2007 and 2009.
As for the current line-up of the band, it will be officially announced on August 15, 2014, but the fans will surely have a pleasant surprise.
The new album “Hymns for the Broken” is the ninth of their careers and has 12 brand-new songs. Band lead vocal Thomas Englund has recently said that they finished filming for a new video “King of Errors,” directed by the famous Patric Ullaeus. The fans will soon be able to watch the production which seems to have a remarkable plot!
Evergrey is one of the most beloved bands in Sweden and is a reference name for the progressive metal scene around the world. With a huge fan base and winning the appreciation of critics, Evergrey is unanimously deemed as one of the emblematic metal bands in Europe.
“Maximum Rock Festival” is surely the major metal event of the autumn in Romania and the only large-scale indoors festival in Romania. The event will take place between October 24 and 25 at Turbohalle in Bucharest and the first foreign bands that confirmed their presence for the 2014 edition are Tristania, Elvenking, Threshold and Emergency Gate. New confirmations are expected soon.
