No bonuses for managers of certain public companies

The department for Energy does not agree with higher wages for Hidroelectrica AGM members as it would be “immoral,” nor with granting bonuses for the directors of Romgaz or Nuclearelectrica, who have “salaries large enough at the moment.” “As for Hidroelectrica leaders’ intention to increase more than 100 times the indemnification for the AGM members on July 30, 2014, the representatives of the Energy Department will vote against this measure… I will never agree with such a measure for a company in insolvency such as Hidroelectrica,” said Minister delegate for Energy Razvan Nicolescu in a release. Nicolescu says he does not agree with bonuses for the directors at Romgaz or Nuclearelectrica depending on the evolution of the shares on the stock exchange.
