Retrospective of International Festival Tres Court on Friday in Bucharest

The most appreciated movies at the International Festival Tres Court (Festival of Very Short Films) 2014 return in the garden of the French Institute in Bucharest on Friday at 9:30 pm when 16 public’s favourite films will screen, according to Mediafax.
Out of the 44 movies including all genres, the 16 to screen were designated as favourite of the public. In maximum three minutes there are funny stories, love stories, existential inquires, films created by directors from all around the world.
Among the films screened there are “Wind” which was awarded the public prize and the originality prize and “Eye in tuna care” the winner of the animation prize. Among the movies screened there will be “Un lugar major,” “Flock,” “Harley,” “Carpack,” “Chicken or the Egg,” “One Minute of Love,” “Snapshot” or “Initiation a la photographie.”
The International Festival Tres Court presents movies lasting three minutes at the most. The festival allows a lot of directors, either confirmed or debutants, to express their view on the world through various techniques and ways of expressions, regardless of the genre (experimental, animation, documentary) with a low budget.
This year, the festival took place between May 2 and 11 in 100 cities all around the world. The 44 movies selected came from 28 states on five continents selected by the jury from more than 1,000 short movies that submitted registration. The event in Bucharest took place between May 3 and 5 at Bistro Chez Elvire and at the Elvire Popesco Cinema, and next year’s edition is scheduled between June 5 and 14.
