RON 88.275 bn collected in mid-year budget revenues

The National Tax Management Agency collected RON 88.275 billion in budget revenues by this mid-year, RON 3 billion more than in last Jan.-June, when collections totalled RON 85.086 billion, show figures communicated by the Agency on Agerpres request. The tax authorities collected RON 84.315 billion in taxes and duties in the first half of 2014, while the customs authority reported RON 3.96 billion worth of revenues to the budget. More than half the revenues collected by the Agency, RON 44.645 billion, were paid to the General Directorate for the Management of the Major Taxpayers, while the Bucharest Regional Public Finance Directorate collected RON 15.698 billion in taxes. Of the 8 regional departments of ANAF, the smallest sum was collected by the Regional Department of Public Finance Craiova — RON 2.567 bn, which covers the counties of Dolj, Gorj, Mehedinti, Olt and Valcea. On county basis, the highest incomes from taxes and dues are achieved in Constanta — RON 2.611 bn, Cluj — RON 1.93 bn, Prahova — RON 1.457 bn and Brasov — RON 1.373 bn and the lowest in Mehedinti — RON 242.32 bn, Ialomita — RON 257.24 bn and Calarasi — RON 267.81 bn. In Bucharest, the public finance administration of ANAF collected RON 13.699 bn, and Ilfov — RON 1.998 bn. As regards the customs authority, the highest incomes were reported by the Galati Regional Department — RON 1.557 bn, which covers the counties of Constanta, Galati, Vrancea, Tulcea, Buzau and Braila.
