The KMG International oil company (formerly Rompetrol Group) has invested more than 1.5 million dollars in healthcare and environment projects over the last six years, within the social responsibility programme styled ‘Together for everyone’, a company release informs.

Rompetrol has completed the selection of 14 more projects under the programme; they will be implemented until April 2015.

Initiatives come from Romania and the Republic of Moldova; the company has earmarked a budget of 225,000 dollars for their implementation.

‘The programme ‘Together for everyone’ extends this year to the Republic of Moldova with an environmental project in Vorniceni; meanwhile, the number of community initiatives in Romania reached 100 over the last six years. Beyond the impressive figures – 300,000 beneficiaries, over 2,500 volunteers and 1.5 million dollars direct investments – we are glad for the increase of the number and quality of the projects by the year, and for the success of community members, in partnerships with local actors and the company, in bringing positive changes to society,’ declared KMG International senior vice president Azamat Zhangulov.
