Romania gov’t assigns funds to organise Congress of Former Political Prisoners International Association

The Romanian Government at its sitting on Tuesday approved a resolution by which it assigns funds for the organisation of the 21st Congress of the International Association of the Former Political Prisoners and Victims of Communism in Bucharest on Aug. 21-24, a release to Agerpres. It adds it is about 49,100 lei from the budget reserve fund available to the Romanian executive earmarked in the budget of the State Secretariat for the recognition of the deserves of the persons who fought against the communist rule in Romania from 1945-1989.
