Romanian capital Bucharest is going to be the host in November of the 2014 CONTRACTOR Construction Entrepreneurs Expo Conference, among the participants to be Claudio Lautizi, the general manager of Salini Impregilo, one of the largest construction companies in Europe currently building the Sebes-Turda and Lugoj-Deva motorway segments in Romania, the value of the projects totalling 274 million euros.
Thus, Salini Impregilo is responsible for designing and building the first segment of the Sebes-Turda motorway. The project started in January 2014 and is worth 121 million euros. Construction works are expected to be finalised in 2016. Another project in which Salini Impregilo is involved in Romania is the 153-million euro worth motorway to link Lugoj and Deva localities, with construction works also being expected to finalise in 2016.
Salini Impregilo is an industrial group specialising in the construction of major, complex projects, operating in more than 50 countries, with a turnover of 4 billion euros and a portfolio of future projects worth 29 billion euros. The company is currently working with famous architects such as Renzo Piano and Zaha Hadid.
The 2014 CONTRACTOR Construction Entrepreneurs Expo Conference is part of a series of international events of the same king taking place in Bucharest, Warsaw and Budapest.
