Finance Ministry borrows RON 30 M from commercial banks

The Public Finances Ministry on Tuesday borrowed 30 million lei from the local banks, the amount being additional to Monday’s bond auctioning, when the ministry raised 200 million lei at 4.28 percent yield. Five banks bid a combined 55.9 million lei at Tuesday’s non-competitive offer session, the last operation in government bonds in August. The Public Finances Ministry borrowed 200 million lei from the local banks on Monday by a 10-year bond auctioning. The banks bid a combined 334.83 million lei.
