CSM leadership welcomes US Embassy delegation

Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Magistrates (CSM) Adrian Bordea and his deputy Gheorghe Muscalu on Wednesday welcomed a delegation of the US Embassy in Bucharest headed by the US ad-interim charge d’affaires Dean Thompson, at the CSM main offices.

CSM reports in a press release that talks at the meeting focused on issues facing the Romanian judiciary, justice independence in the context of election year 2014 as well as on the relations between CSM and other public institutions and the mass-media.

At the end of the meeting the official of the US Embassy appreciated CSM for its efforts and measures, underscoring the important part of CSM in the current social context.
