Cotnari wines, awarded gold and silver medals in Berlin

The wines produced by Cotnari add to their track record three new medals received in a summer edition international competition, Agerpres informs. Cotnari Marketing Manager Catalin Grecu said that the wines Tamaioasa Romaneasca of the 2012 production, Grasa de Cotnari of 2005 and Grasa de Cotnari of 1982 obtained gold medals and Grasa de Cotnari of 2012 and Feteasca Alba of 1995 were awarded the silver medals in one of the most important international competitions carried out under the coordination of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine – BERLINER WEIN TROPHY 2014 – the summer edition. ‘Among the 160 gold medals obtained over the past ten years in the wine international competitions, Cotnari Company is an undisputed leader of the Romanian high-quality wines and fully contributes to maintaining Romania’s position among the elite of Best Wines of the World,’ Catalin Grecu said.
