New mall in Bucharest

A new shopping facility was officially opened in Bucharest on Thursday – Vulcan Value Centre, developed by the South-African investment fund New Europe Property Investments (NEPI) with an investment of EUR 47 M. Vulcan Value Centre is a retail park with over 50 stores including well-known retailers such as H&M, C&A, Hervis Sports, Noriel Bebe, ANIMAX, LEMS, JYSK, Domo, TAKKO, Deichmann and DM. NEPI’s project is currently 95 per cent leased. Vulcan Value Centre was developed on the platform of the former Vulcan factory in Rahova neighbourhood. The shopping park in the South-West of Bucharest has a built area of 25,750 sq m, approximately 25,000 sq m being retail area and over 1,200 parking spaces.
