EUR 16 million project to replace Bucharest’s traffic lights

The Bucharest Street Administration announced an intention to contract maintenance and repairs services, as well as the purchase of up-to-date equipment and devices for the traffic management in Bucharest. The value of the project is estimated to RON 71.1 million (EUR 16.1 million), VAT included. The project aims to grant impeccable functioning of traffic lights located in Bucharest and the services will be contracted as part of a framework agreement of three years, supported by the local budget, according to a press release issued by the contracting authority. The agreement, estimated at a total value of RON 57.3 million, no VAT added, also stipulates installing video, communication and data processing equipment.
