Metalhead: Unearth concert in Romania

America’s Unearth, one of the biggest stage names in international metalcore, will give a concert for the first time in Romania, on September 15 at Fabrica, an event organized by Metalhead. Alongside the American band, you will also be able to see Diamonds Are Forever, Rock n Ghena, Crimena and Chaos Cult!
Formed in 1998, the group has released five studio albums. Their fifth album, Darkness in the Light, was released July 5, 2011. The band began as Point 04 (containing McGrath, Rudberg, and Rybicki), and Susi was recruited soon afterwards. The band attempted to recruit Phipps while he recovered from appendicitis, but Phipps was reluctant to join. However, when Phipps showed up to a jam session for one of Susi’s side bands, Unearth was practicing instead, and Phipps agreed to join after hearing the song “Shattered by the Sun.” The name “Unearth” was coined by drummer Mike Rudberg as he wanted the band to “Unearth” a new sound in the metal and hardcore world.
Until September 12 you can still find tickets for RON 35, their price being set to go to RON 40 until September 15 and then to RON 50 at the entrance. Apart from www.iabilet.ro and the IaBilet network (Uman, Senia, Perfect Tour, Muzica store), tickets can also be found on www.eventim.ro, www.myticket.ro and www.bilete.ro, as well as in all classical physical sales points (Diverta, Humanitas, Muzica store, Vodafone and Orange stores, Domo, Germanos, Romanian Post etc.).
Unearth’s show in Bucharest is one of the warm-up parties for Metalhead Meeting 2014, an event that will take place on September 27 at Arenele Romane and whose main features will be Paradise Lost and Finntroll.
