BVB to reduce the trading fees as of October 1

Consistent to the process of lifting the 8 Barriers that stand in the development path of the capital market, Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) will apply a reduction of trading fees for regulated market, Rasdaq, ATS and Unlisted segment. The reduction of the trading fees will come into effect from October 1, 2014, a press release informs. The new trading fees, as a sum of BVB and ASF (Financial Supervisory Authority) fees, will be 0.1 percent (10 bps), charged for both buy and sell sides, to all participants, excluding the fees for the Market Makers, which are lower. BVB decision is designed to encourage the trading activity of the participants and investors on the stock exchange and it will contribute to the development of the local capital market.
