Bucharest One, second-highest building in Bucharest

Bucharest One is an office development in Bucharest located in the northern part of the city in the Calea Floreasca / Barbu Vacarescu area. The location is one of the country’s most dynamic within the office segment and the property is situated at the heart of it. The property benefits from excellent visibility and has access to three major roads: Calea Floreasca, Barbu Vacarescu and Pipera. On completion, the office tower will be the second tallest building in Romania and will benefit from a large retail component at ground level, including a supermarket, car showroom, pharmacy, bank branch and coffee shop.
The building is owned by Globalworth Real Estate Investments, an investment fund controlled by businessman Ioannis Papalekas. The construction works have been entrusted to the Romanian company BOG’ART. BOG’ART is one of the largest constructions companies in Romania, and has built among others the Tower Center International, Charles de Gaulle Plaza and City Gate.
The building consists of two bodies: Body A – a 23-floor office building with underground parking lot and commercial areas, located at the south side of the location; Body B – a one-floor building with underground parking lot and commercial areas, located at the northern side of the location.
The deadline for the completion of the construction works has been set for Q3 of 2015.
