Ericsson Romania in full expansion

“20 years since it was set up, Ericsson Romania has managed to grow from a team of 8 to approximately 3,000 employees by the end of 2014, up from 2,800 now. The anniversary also coincided with a series of other events for the company, such as the signing of several network administration services contracts that will allow the global services center in Romania to continue developing. Next year the center plans to boost its current team and to expand its offer of services for media and television companies,” an Ericsson Romania communiqué reads.
This summer Ericsson signed a seven-year contract with Romtelecom and Cosmote, the Swedish company being set to offer integrated support services in the network operation and maintenance domain.
Apart from its clients in Romania, the center also offers IT&C services to 34 companies in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North America, a portfolio built in the seven years since its opening.
Last year Ericsson Romania’s turnover grew by 10.4 per cent year-on-year to RON 566.77 M, and its net profit grew by 23.5 per cent to RON 24.1 M.
