Elmas Brasov boosts export of high-capacity elevators

Brasov-based Elmas Company, the top producer of lifting installations in Romania, has fitted this year elevators worth EUR 150 M in residential, retail and office projects.  For 2014, Elmas Brasov estimates a 5-7 per cent year-on-year growth in the volume of sales and stakes on exports growing from 7-8 per cent of turnover last year to 15 per cent this year, against the backdrop of the rise in production capacity.
“This year we can reach a volume of delivered and fitted elevators higher by 5-7 per cent compared to 2013. Elmas high-capacity elevators (for example auto elevators and freight elevators) were exported in 2014 to various destinations – auto showrooms, office buildings, residential buildings,” Marius Paraipan, Elmas Brasov Brand Manager, stated.
In Romania Elmas has delivered elevators for persons and freight for projects in the medical, residential, hotel and office domain, for commercial centers, and customized elevators for buildings of patrimony.
“As part of an important project in the Cotroceni area 12 elevators have been fitted so far and another 14 special quality elevators will be delivered and fitted next year,” Marius Paraipan added.
Elmas is also authorized to perform technical check-ups in the elevators domain and is developing technological solutions for green energy in its own research center, solutions that will be included in the range of Elmas elevators. These technological solutions will lead to lower energy use and the inclusion of the products in Class A in what concerns energy efficiency. For the elevators delivered and fitted the company offers a customized after-sales package of services for each user, permanently investing in service logistics.  The Elmas elevators with CE marking have a warranty of 5 years and an average lifespan of 25 years. The maintenance and exploitation costs of these elevators are convenient because of the reliability of the components used.
Elmas Brasov was set up in 1990, having Romanian capital in proportion of 100 per cent. The company’s main activity is the production of lifting and handling equipment. The company is headquartered in Brasov, its production, storage, repair and administrative areas covering a surface of 70,000 square meters. The company has eight working points at national level and three branches in neighboring countries.
