New corresponding members of the Romanian Academy

During the meeting scheduled on Friday, September 26, 2014, the General Ensemble of the Romanian Academy selected, by secret ballot, new corresponding members. According to Mrs. Elena Oprea, press officer of the Romanian Academy, the new corresponding members are Mircea Aurelian Martin ( The Philology and Literature Department), a former professor of the Philology Department of the Bucharest University and former manager of the Univers Publishing House, where he was a successor of university professor doctor Romul Munteanu; Dumitru Mihalache (The Physical Sciences Department); Ion Grosu (The Chemical Sciences Department); Mihaela Hillebrand (The Chemical Sciences Department); Dan Constantin Jipa (The Geonomics Sciences Department); Nicolae Ovidiu Badea (The Agriculture and Sylviculture Sciences Department); Mihail Coculescu (The Medical Sciences Department);  Mircea Petru Cucuianu ( The Medical Sciences Department); Mircea Dumitru (The Philosophy, Theology, Psychology and Pedagogy Department) and Valentin Gheorghiu (The Arts, Architecture and Audiovisual Department).
