Ponta pays visit to Kiev

Nine O’ClockPrime Minister Victor Ponta has announced he will pay a visit to Kiev, where he is scheduled to meet with Ukraine’s Prime Minister and President, alongside Republic of Moldova’s Prime Minister Iurie Leanca. ”Tomorrow I’ll be in Kiev, I have a meeting not only with the prime minister and president of Ukraine, but also a three-party meeting with Moldova’s prime minister. It will be the first meeting of this kind, attended by Moldova, Ukraine and Romania,” Ponta announced in a Government meeting. Victor Ponta also said that on occasion of this visit, he will reiterate “the role Romania should play, as member state of the European Union, NATO and stable country in the region, country that supports actively and concretely Moldova’s and Ukraine’s.
