Basescu: “I have a single disease, the thieves’disease”

President Traian Basescu said on Thursday that authorizes the ten doctors who made the annual medical examination to give any journalist interested in his  health status, arguing that the president has only one disease, namely ” thieves illness “. “I authorize the ten doctors in the committee that was formed this year, when I made the medical visit, so public I authorize them to give any information to any journalist who is interested in the health of the president,” said Basescu. He said that ” a television has stooped so low in smear propaganda” that he learned from TV ” that he had a stroke, about his admission at the Military Hospital in Bucharest, at Fundeni Hospital or in Vienna”. “There was no such health incident, at least in these ten years, I do not know what will happen when I finish my mandate,” said Basescu. The President continued: “I can tell you that I have a single disease, the thieves’ disease, and this can not treated.” The President made these statements at the International Airport “Henri Coanda” “before leaving to Summit Asia – Europe Meeting (ASEM) in Milan. A TV station reported on Wednesday evening that President Basescu would have signs of Parkinson’s disease, that he had two strokes and that, therefore, was hospitalized several times, including abroad.
Ponta: “Basescu suffers of power disease”
Romania will have, over 31 days, a first legitimate president “definitely healthy” responsible and interested in Romania, the current head of state, Traian Basescu having an apparent disorder and suffered from “power disease,” said PSD leader Victor Ponta Prime. Asked by the press if he has information on the health of the president while he previously said about Basescu that looks a little “troubled” , Ponta said he knows that there are 31 days until Romania will again have a first legitimate president afterward “certainly healthy, responsible and interested in Romania”.
“I wish very much that in these 31 days, no longer be endangered the fundamental institutions of the state, no longer be attacked the judiciary, not to be attacked the intelligence services , not to  be attacked the army,”added Ponta while visiting Galati.
