Endava to hire 300 IT specialists in Cluj-Napoca

Endava, an IT services company, has inaugurated a development and support center on Thursday in Cluj-Napoca, the investment totaling approximately EUR 1 M. In the next two years another 300 persons will join the company’s current 550 employees.
Endava Director General John Cotterell stated on Thursday at the inauguration of the development and support center that he chose Cluj-Napoca because the city is an important university center with a powerful IT community.  “The Endava IT services company has inaugurated in Cluj-Napoca the biggest development and support center in Romania, located within the United Business Center building where we hold 8 of the 11 floors and a surface of 6,700 square meters. By moving into the new headquarters we consolidate our operations in Cluj-Napoca within a single office space, which will allow us to maintain the team’s growth rhythm of 25 per cent per year. We have here 550 employees and we plan to employ another 140 IT specialists in the next 12 months, and we plan to surpass 850 employees in these headquarters in two years’ time. We have chosen Cluj-Napoca for the expansion because the city is an important university center which has a powerful IT community,” Endava Director General John Cotterell stated, adding that the investment totals approximately EUR 1 M.
Endava is an IT services company that was set up in 2000 and has over 1,600 employees in 11 locations in Great Britain, United States, Germany, Romania, Moldova and Macedonia and a turnover of over EUR 81 M. Apart from its headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, the company also has one in Iasi (270 employees) and one in Bucharest (280 employees).
