About 9,000 new cars registered by operational leasing companies

About 9,000 new cars have been registered over Jan. – Sept. 2014 by the operational leasing companies, up nearly 1,000 units compared to the same period of 2013, having a share of about 15 percent of all registrations of new passenger cars and new light commercial vehicles, according to data centralized by the Association of Operational Leasing Companies (ASLO).
‘This development is due to a higher interest in the advantages of operational leasing services, an interest overlapping a positive economic evolution, this leading to a revival in the automotive market,’ ASLO reports in a release.
At the end of Q3, 2014, the operational leasing market advanced about 13 percent compared to the same period of last year, up to 47,000 units, exceeding expectations.
ASLO started operating in March 2011, as a non-governmental, nonprofit, apolitical professional association registered on Nov. 17, 2010, in accordance with the Romanian law.
