Nine medals for Romania in Youth Balkan Championships

Romania’s delegation has won nine medals – two gold, three silver and four bronze – at the Youth Balkan Table Tennis Championships in Tirana, Albania. The gold medals were earned by Alexandru Manole and Bernadett Balint, in mixed doubles, as well as by the pair made of Alexandru Manole/Alin Spelbus, in men’s doubles. The silver medals were conquered by Bernadett Balint (single), the pair Bernadett Balint/Roxana Istrate (women’s doubles) and the boys’ team. The bronze medals went to Alin Spelbus (men’s single), Roxana Istrate (women’s single), Diana Lupu (women’s doubles, in pair with Bulgarian Krasimira Iovkova) and the girls’ team.
