Minister-Delegate for Energy Razvan Eugen Nicolescu has stated, on Thursday, at the Transgaz anniversary, that the ‘future looks very good’ for the gas sector in Romania, referring to the doubling of the structural funds accessible by this company.
‘We are the third-ranked country from an energetic independence viewpoint in the European Union, yet we must look more into the future. And the future for Transgaz, for the gas sector in Romania looks very good. (…) We found the necessary support and have managed to double the sum that can be accessed by Transgaz from structural funds in the next budgetary exercise, even though, as we know, unfortunately, the total sum allotted to Romania is not an impressive one, only 20 billion, that must be split among many priorities’, said Minister Razvan Eugen Nicolescu.
