Florin Dobre receives Best International Designer prize at Serbia Fashion Week

Romanian Florin Dobre has received the Best International Designer prize of the Serbia Fashion Week, which was organised in Novi Sad., informs Agerpres.
Dobre presented in Novi Sad his latest collection called ‘62.2 Metres.’ Competing at Serbia Fashion Week, which ended on Sunday, were over 30 fashion designers from nine countries, including Italy, Poland, Malta and Hungary. The jury was made up of Serbia Fashion Week Chairman Donald Potard and his deputy Marcellous L. Jones, designers Eymeric Francois, Branko Popovic, Svetlana Horvat and fashion journalist Svetlana Knezevic.
The theme of Dobre’s entire ‘62.2 Metres’ was Romanian unity.
‘Created out of a single sheet of material 62.2 metres long, specially conceived with the design department of the Dorobantul SA factory, the entire collection reflects the resistance of Romanian unity,’ reads a press release issued by Dobre.
The cut of the pieces in the ‘62.2 Metres’ collection preserves the line of collections that consecrated Dobre in Paris and London, namely the modern reinterpretation of classical male.
The collection was released in five different places in the streets of London on June 16 and in Bucharest, on September 27.
