Florin Georgescu: Talks about the PM office, after the runoff

National Bank of Romania (BNR) First Vice-Governor Florin Georgescu says the talks about his possible appointment as prime minister will take place after the presidential election runoff.
‘I am honoured with Mr Victor Ponta’s proposal. I collaborated very well with Mr Victor Ponta in 2012, when I was part of the Government he ran. Talks and a decision – of course, after the runoff of the presidential elections of November 16, 2014,’ Florin Georgescu shows in a statement sent to AGERPRES.
Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Tuesday evening said that the list with the persons nominated for the prime minister office, in case he won the presidential elections, was closed, the first pick being Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, followed by  Florin Georgescu and Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) Director George Maior.
