Culinary and dance show from Land of the Rising Sun

On November 18, 5.30 p.m., Hotel Crown Plaza’s La Veranda restaurant will host the “Introduction to Japanese Culinary Art,” an event organized by Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. As part of the event, master chef Akio Saitou, guide and promoter of Japanese cooking art, as well as owner of two Japanese cuisine restaurants in Tokyo, will offer explanations about Japanese dishes. The audience will have the chance to taste the main Japanese dishes that will be prepared. At the opening of the event, Mrs. Seika Adzuma, teacher of Japanese traditional dance in Adzuma style, a type of dance with a tradition of almost 200 years, will perform a traditional Japanese dance.
