Voestalpine VAE Apcarom profit up by 70 pc in first nine months

Rolling stock producer Voestalpine VAE Apcarom has reported a net profit of RON 7.74 M in the first nine months of the year, up by 70 per cent compared to the same period last year, when its profit stood at RON 4.54 M, according to the report that the company has sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
This against the backdrop in which during the period of reference the company’s turnover dropped from RON 78.37 to RON 76.13 M. Compared to the end of 2013, the company’s total assets dropped from RON 137.53 M to RON 132.3 M, and its debts dropped from RON 74.96 M on 31 December 2013, to RON 55.6 M.
The company, based in Buzau and controlled by Austria’s Voestalpine VAE Gmbh which owns 92.91 per cent of its shares, offers railway, subway and tramway equipment and equipment for companies that have their own industrial lines.
