According to market information, the Bog’Art constructions company has started last week to demolish the former administrative buildings of the Farmexim pharmaceutical group. In their place, Ioannis Papalekas will build the biggest business center in Romania.
Globalworth Real Estate, a company controlled by Greek businessman Ioannis Papalekas, bought this summer a 30,000-square-meter plot of land located behind the Pipera subway station. The investor paid EUR 14.3 M to pharmaceutical drugs distributor Farmexim, controlled by businessman Ovidiu Buluc.
Globalworth announced that it will develop a center that entails an investment of EUR 98 M. The Globalworth Campus project will have a surface of 105,000 square meters, and will consist of three office building towers and commercial centers. Moreover, the center will have 1,500 parking spots.
The Iride Business Park, also located close to the Pipera subway station, is currently Romania’s biggest business park. It has a rentable surface of 92,855 square meters and is owned by Austria’s Immofinanz, the biggest owner of office spaces in the country with a total of 206,347 square meters.
