Elections for the Romanian Presidency have already completed thousands of miles away of Romania. In New Zealand, where electoral process has completed well, Klaus Johannis, the ACL candidate is a clear winner, according to results obtained by stiripesurse.ro. After counting the votes from the polling station no. 187 from the Diaspora, ACL candidate won 94% of the votes, obtaining 309 votes out of 330 in total.
“I thank Romanians from New Zealand for my sweeping victory. I thank them for their trust and their vote. I am impressed by the number three times higher of those who went to the ballot compared with the first round.Together, today we fight for our Romania. Today, we win!,” said Klaus Iohannis.
